The outfit of the Moroccan bride, source of inspiration for costumes from the series “House of the Dragon”

After being one of the main filming locations for Game of Thrones, Morocco is still a strong source of inspiration for the creators of the series. House of the Dragonreleased in 2022, in which GOT fans discover the history of the Targaryen family.

Thus, explains costume designer Jany Temime to Tatler, this one was inspired by medieval times to bring an antique aspect to the costumes and also drew inspiration from Moroccan culture.

“For the accessories, I took a lot of inspiration from Moroccan brides. I found these earrings and made them longer and longer. I thought they looked mysterious,” the costume designer explained.
