FUS Rabat coach Jamal Sellami has assured that his team will play for a place at the top of the standings in the Botola Pro D1 “Inwi” which starts this week.

FUS began preparations for the club’s academy four weeks ago and played several friendly matches against Chabab de Mohammedia, Widad Temara, Raja de Casablanca, Ittihad Tangier, Olympique Dchira and Union Touarga, he said.

The rbati club has worked to fill the gaps in certain positions, especially after the departure of several players, he underlined, adding that several young elements of the academy, who have the required qualities, have joined the first team in the hope of bringing the most expected.

Likewise, he said, the club has secured the services of experienced local players and elements of the amateur division, with the aim of creating a cohesive group capable of putting on a good show and playing for a place. at the top of the ranking.

For Sellami, the battle for the title will be limited to Raja and Wydad de Casablanca, AS FAR and Renaissance de Berkane, who have strong groups and play on several fronts.

During the transfer window, the FUS recruited Amine El Azri, Marouane Waddani, Oumar Farouk Komara, Souhail Ichou, Hamza Hannouri, Guy Hervé, Hamza Karkour and Marouane Elaz.
