The 37th edition of the FIFF will be held from September 30 to October 7, in Namur.
Opening the Festival, the film by actor and director Louis Garrel, “The Innocent”, with Anouk Grinberg and Roschdy Zem. And to close the event: “Pour la France” by Rachid Hami, with Lubna Azabal and Karim Leclou.
“Changes to the FIFF
A few changes should be noted this year, such as the short weekend, with seven screenings and 25 short films to discover on October 1 and 2. The 1st work competition now includes both fiction and documentary, as was already the case for the official competition.
No crush but many meetings will be organized, in the presence of the guests.
And finally, no marquee, but a heart of the festival in La Nef, this deconsecrated church located rue Saint Nicolas in Namur.
As for the theme, which we find in many films, it is parenthood.
