Initially scheduled for Thursday, September 15, the Government Council is postponed by one day due to the trip of the Head of Government to Angola.
Aziz Akhannouch represents the Kingdom at the investiture ceremony of Angolan President João Lourenço, reappointed for a second term after his party’s victory in the legislative elections held last August.
As a reminder, the Council of Government should begin its work with a presentation by the Minister of Equipment and Water on “the shortage of water and the structural and urgent measures taken”. Another presentation by the Minister of Agriculture should follow on the subject of “measures taken in anticipation of the 2022-2023 agricultural campaign”.
The Council will then examine a draft law relating to the private domain of the State and two draft decrees, the first of which amends and supplements the decree issued pursuant to the law establishing the Moroccan Agency for the Development of Investments, then that the second fixes the number of the regional commissions of the tax appeal, their seats as well as their circle of competence.
It will complete its work by examining proposals for appointment to high office, in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Constitution.
