Ten dead in stabbing attack

Canadian authorities are looking for two men suspected of being behind a stabbing attack that left at least 10 dead and 15 injured on Sunday at several crime scenes in Saskatchewan, central Canada.

Authorities have identified the two suspects as Damien Sanderson and Myles Sanderson. They pointed out that they were possibly armed and dangerous, and advised the public to take the necessary precautions.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) of Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba are jointly investigating the attacks.

“We are devoting maximum resources to this investigation,” Saskatchewan RCMP Assistant Commissioner Rhonda Blackmore said in a statement.

“To be clear, we are still looking for the two suspects. We ask residents of Saskatchewan and neighboring provinces to be vigilant. At this stage of our investigation, we believe that some of the victims were targeted by the suspects. and others were randomly attacked,” Mr Blackmore said.

Authorities describe Damien Sanderson as 31, with black hair and brown eyes. Myles Sanderson, meanwhile, is a 30-year-old man with brown hair and brown eyes.

Speaking on Twitter on Sunday shortly after the attack, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called it “horrific and heartbreaking”.
