Saint-Cirq-Lapopie. An international exhibition of contemporary art

From Friday September 2 to Sunday September 25, the first international exhibition of Hors-les-Normes art will take place in Saint-Cirq-Lapopie.

25 contemporary artists from eleven nations will exhibit their works throughout the month in different places in the village, such as the Salle de la Fourdonne or the Maison André Breton… Gérard Miquel, Mayor of Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, Jean-Luc Bourdila and Jean-Luc Hugonenc, the organizers, and all the artists, inform that the opening of the exhibition will take place this Friday, September 2 at 7 p.m. in the gardens of the Fourdonne. Mireille Larrede, prefect of Lot, Carole Delga, president of the regional council of Occitanie, and Serge Rigal, president of the departmental council of Lot, were invited to participate.

La Rose impossible manager of the MAB (Maison André Breton) takes the opportunity to launch an appeal: “In cooperation with the new International Outsider Art Festival and the town hall of the village of Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, we are looking for volunteers available for the surveillance of several exhibition venues in the village, between September 2 and 25, from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. If you have some availability, for a day, several days, a week or even the entire duration of the event, do not hesitate to contact us at the email address: [email protected].
