Qatar provides an update on the organization

The engineer Yasir Al-Jamal has also been involved in the preparations for the 2022 World Cup since its award to Qatar. He played a major role in the construction sites of the tournament infrastructure, in particular for the seven stadiums built for the occasion, as well as in the redevelopment of the Khalifa International.

“Everyone at SC – in addition to our many partners – can be very proud of the projects we have worked so hard on,” said Al Jamal. “It’s incredible to think that at the beginning of this adventure, we only had a vision and ideas. Today, we have infrastructure and sites that communities across the country use every day. We already see part of the legacy of this World Cup, it changes people’s lives long before it kicks off. »
