Guillaume Chavatte will go to Vincennes (R-4) on Thursday with two of his boarders. He delivered his impressions to our journalist Stéphane Davy :
“ISPALION DU VAU (310) is a horse that has facilities and speed. It won easily last month at Fleurance. He was wearing down blinders and an ear plug that day but I didn’t need to use those devices. I had tried at work, he had responded very well. Previously, in Cabourg, with an autostart N°13, he signed good partials from the opposite line until the last corner. He retained a good degree of form. Number 10 doesn’t really bother me. We just need to benefit from a good running of the race. He was eliminated last Sunday in Alençon. So I let myself be tempted by this commitment to Vincennes. The Big Track won’t bother him. It tends to “pull” but if it progresses well relaxed, it should conclude well. He is not out of business in this lot.
INES DE CESNY (404)) had a good start to his career, setting good times. Alas, since this summer, she tends to want to indulge less. I hope she will want more. Currently, she is better shod, with four alues, and without artifices or ear plugs. I am going to ambush the driver, hoping that it provides good acceleration at the end of the course. She will be applying for an allowance.”
He adds : “CORBIE GALWAY has just arrived in Les Sables d’Olonne. That day; he took a good 2nd place, especially since I couldn’t “let go” of him too much to finish because he had lost a bell in the last turn by hanging on. It has a future and is cut to age well. In particular, he will have a good program next year in the South West.”
