The PSG striker has had laudatory remarks towards the two greatest players of the 21st century, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Neymar has called Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo ‘geniuses’. The Brazilian admitted without problem that it was an extraordinary duo and that we may not see again in the world of football.
Neymar gave his thoughts on two of the greatest players of all time while complimenting England duo Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane. The Brazilian was asked to describe a host of talents in one word. He was also full of praise for Spanish football’s rising star, Pedri.
Neymar nostalgic for MSN?
When asked to describe Messi and Ronaldo, Neymar simply replied ‘genius’. Her verdict on Kane wasn’t quite as spontaneous, considering her response before saying “smart.” He was then asked about the rising generation, calling Bellingham “quality” before praising Pedri: “Classic, Iniestaesque”.
Neymar’s opinion matters. The Brazil international is one of the best players in the world and is respected by his opponents around the world. Interestingly, the 30-year-old chose to use the same term to describe Messi and Ronaldo and it’s also the qualifier he used for ex-Barca team-mate Luis Suarez.
The PSG winger has had a very convincing start to the season. He hopes to continue his momentum when they receive Brest before their second Champions League match against Maccabi Haifa. After having shone with PSG, “Ney” will no doubt then be keen to conquer the World Cup with Brazil in Qatar.
