The Atlas Lion, Munir El Haddadi has left Sevilla for Madrid. As expected, the Moroccan international has officially signed up with Getafe FC.
Undesirable on the side of Sevilla FC, Munir El Haddadi will continue his career with Getafe from this season. The Atlas Lion has therefore joined a club in which he hopes to have enough playing time not to compromise his chances of playing in the next World Cup in Qatar.
A few hours before the end of the transfer window, the 26-year-old Atlas Lion was aware of his marginalization in the six-time winner of the Europa League. He therefore made the decision to change scenery in this period of summer transfers.
“Sevilla FC and Getafe CF have reached an agreement for the transfer to the ‘azulón’ team of Moroccan international Munir El-Haddadi, who is leaving Sevilla FC after three and a half years. Munir, who arrived in Nervión in the winter of the FC Barcelona 2018-2019 season market, closes this stage with a record of 113 official matches, 25 goals and seven assists, as well as with a UEFA Europa trophy League raised in Cologne in August 2020” can we read on the Andalusian club website.
