Organized in partnership with the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports, this sporting event is part of the series of Grands Prix, under the aegis of World Para Athletics. The 6th edition of this sporting event will see the participation of around 400 athletes representing 41 African, Asian, European and American countries, in addition to 105 referees.
In a statement to the press, the president of the FRMSPH, Mr. Hamid El Aouni, said that the Moulay El Hassan international meeting of para-athletics will be marked by the participation of Paralympic champions and Moroccan and foreign athletes who have pulverized world records in their specialties.
These athletes, he continued, will thus have the opportunity to compete with each other to achieve new performances and improve their world rankings during this major international event, which has become over the years an unmissable annual meeting of World Para Athletics, thus contributing to the international influence of the Kingdom.
He underlined, in this sense, that the Moroccan Paralympic selection, which includes more than 70 athletes, has carried out preparation courses in anticipation of this international meeting, qualifying for the world championships scheduled for July 2023 in Paris, The international para-athletics meeting Moulay El Hassan continues to gain notoriety over the editions, he said, noting that the organizing committee has received no less than 50 requests for participation.
It should be noted that training sessions will be held on the sidelines of this event, in addition to an international forum on the sport of people with disabilities. It will also be an awareness day on para-athletics for students over the age of 12, a workshop on the training of journalists in para-athletics and a meeting with associations and clubs affiliated with the FRMSPH.

After highlighting the efforts made by the FRMSPH to ensure the success of this international meeting, he said that the inclusion of the international meeting Moulay El Hassan in the series of Grand Prix is a success in itself.
