As part of the FIFA days of this month of September, the coach of the Stallions made his list public this Wednesday, September 14, at the turn of a press conference. For this purpose, 25 players were summoned by Hubert Velud. There are returns as well as new faces.
Bertrand Traoré signs his return to the national team, after having missed the last regrouping last June for reasons of injury. Hervé Koffi, who left the rally on the eve of the 3-1 victory over Eswatini on June 7, counting for the second day of the CAN 2023 qualifiers, is also making his comeback.
Of the 25 players selected by Hubert Velud, there are three new faces. They are dual nationals Hillel Konaté, Adama Fofana and Adamo Nagalo. Several executives of the workforce like Edmond Tapsoba or Issoufou Dayo are present. The notable absentee is Lassina Traoré from Shakhtar Donetsk. The other fact to highlight in this list is the absence of players playing in the Burkinabe championship.
It should be remembered that on September 23 and 27, Burkina Faso will play two friendly matches against DR Congo and the Comoros. These meetings take place at the Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat.
