Emirates News Agency – UAE reports 400 new COVID-19 cases, 428 recoveries and no deaths in past 24 hours

ABU DHABI, 11th September, 2022 (WAM) — The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has announced that it has carried out an additional 218,081 COVID-19 tests in the past 24 hours, using testing equipment advanced medical.

In a statement, the ministry stressed its goal to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate early detection of coronavirus cases and effect necessary treatment. As part of its intensified testing campaign, the MoHAP announced 400 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of registered cases in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to 1,020,025.

According to the ministry, those infected are of various nationalities. They are in stable condition and are receiving the necessary care.

The ministry added that no deaths related to COVID-19 have been recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll in the country to 2,342.

The MoHAP also noted that 428 more people had fully recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 999,668.
