Created ten years ago by Jessy, a dance teacher, the Studio14 association welcomes little girls from the age of 5 every year. Different courses are offered for all ages, teenagers and adults. You learn stage and cabaret dances and choreography to French and international songs.
A former dancer in Parisian revues, Chartraine Jessy was also Clodette. “I was part of Billy Bridge’s company for ten years, of the jazz company Why Not and I also did a lot of café-théâtre in Paris before arriving in Chartres”, she confides.
With Babette Grosset, president of the Studio14 association, and Laurence Plaât, treasurer, as well as some volunteers, Jessy welcomed, on Wednesday, the new students for the start of the association’s school year in its premises.
Note that Studio14 will be at the association fair on Saturday and Sunday (stand 86) and Jessy’s dancers from last year will give dance demonstrations tomorrow at 3 p.m. and Sunday at 11:30 a.m.
The resumption of classes is scheduled for Wednesday, September 7 with, this first day, free trial classes from 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at 7, rue du 17-Août, in Chartres.

Company. Studio14 created, last year, a company intended for the young artists resulting from its courses to ensure representations dedicated to the communities, “the Company Starass & Co”. She presented her first show last December, in Lucé.
